The Free Enterprise Foundation is dedicated to ensuring the perpetuity of JA’s mission in our communities for generations to come.

The Free Enterprise Foundation was established to gives our supporters the opportunity to make a lasting impact on future generations.  While our education system is constantly changing, one constant remains the same; today’s children are our future.  Through the work of Junior Achievement, children are assured an understanding of the opportunities our free enterprise system provides for future success.

The Free Enterprise Foundation provide funds to Junior Achievement by offering endowment giving opportunities that sustain JA’s core-mission programs, increase the organization’s capacity to meet changing needs, and support strategic initiatives. Ultimately, the Free Enterprise Foundation is dedicated to ensuring the perpetuity of JA’s mission in our communities for generations to come.

Honoring Jim Victor's Legacy

Jim Victor’s passion for Junior Achievement was infectious. He found true joy in helping our youth learn the art of business.

His approach to life and learning began early, growing up in the Victor home where everyone was listened to and encouraged to pursue their own individual strengths. As Jim moved into more of life and business he saw how those early years of encouragement from his parents were playing out successfully in his work. Jim worked with a lot of people and organizations but it was easy to see his investment in Junior Achievement, both personally and professionally, was very special to him for a long, long time.

Jim was a dedicated JA classroom volunteer and board member. He secured the largest gift our organization ever received from a private donor. That gift was used to build the Folwell Education Center for Free Enterprise, headquarters for JA of the Heartland. He was also actively involved in the creation of the Free Enterprise Foundation in 2000.

We will always remember him as a loyal friend, advisor, and community leader.
