We encourage all 7th-12th grade students to participate.
Complete the JA Inspire Interest Form ASAP to let us know of your school’s interest in participating. Submit one form for each participating school. You may also contact Christy Kunz at christy.kunz@ja.org or 309-277-3907.
Included in the JA Inspire Virtual Career Fair are:
Educator Guide – Includes details for teacher-led or student self-guided instructions.
Student Curriculum and Workbook – The downloadable workbook contains fillable and savable .pdfs that includes the following:
Yes. The downloadable Student Curriculum and Workbook will be available to each student. Students will use the workbook before, during and after the virtual career fair. The career fair experience is self-guided. Students will visit the exhibit hallway(s) and auditorium.
We would ask that educators from your school be available on March 4 should we need to contact you for any reason.
Once you complete the JA Inspire Interest Form, you will receive information to get your students registered. Usernames and passwords will be provided to you.
Yes and No – While the booths will be available at any time, there will presentations in the auditorium. Some presentations will be on-demand and others will be semi-live. The semi-live presentations will include recorded videos and a live Q&A session. More details will be provided. The Student Curriculum and Workbook allows students to map their course before the event begins.
Students will have a virtual backpack. They can add pamphlets, fliers, videos and other information to their virtual backpack and email it to themselves. Students can return to the JA Inspire Virtual Career Fair until June 3, 2021.
Check with your school’s technology department for any firewalls that may deny access to the event.
