Historically JA serves more than 50,000 students. With the impact of COVID-19, JA served more than 16,000 in the 2020-2021 school year.

More than 1,600 individual volunteers

More than 130 schools and youth organizations

Ranked as the 34th largest JA Area out of 105 in the U.S. based on the number of students served.

Ranked 21st in the U.S. based on student market share.

School is back in session, and JA is back in the classrooms! 91% of teens say they need additional support this school year. Be their support!
It’s easy!
  • Training and kit of materials provided
  • Easy-to-follow speaking points and materials for hands-on activities
  • Five to six classroom visits. Each visit is about 30-40 minutes
  • Classroom visits scheduled by volunteers and educators in a way that works best for both

Qualifying Rounds – November 16 & 17, 2021

The NEW JA Titan simulation brings business economics to life. As students work in teams, or on their own, to make financial decisions about production, marketing, research and development, and corporate social responsibility, they begin to see how every choice made in an organization relates to its future success. Teams have the opportunity to win scholarship dollars provided by Vickie Anne Palmer.

A Job Podcast for Young People

A Real Piece of Work: The Job Podcast for Young People features real people sharing real stories on how they found their passion and navigated their path to career success. Hosts Matt Rebro and Melissa Pepper dig into personal and professional choices that led each featured guest to where they are today. The podcast introduces teens to careers they may or may not be familiar with and provides tips on finding the right career for them. Check out the series wherever you listen to podcasts.
